There's a lot of news and spin these days regarding development aimed at
south coast Santa Barbara County. CSP sends out email news alerts
to help keep our concerned neighbors up-to-date on timely issues.
 We are concerned about the future of the Santa Barbara/Goleta Valley, and are against
high-density growth that would forever alter the character of the south coast region,
with a focused interest on the unincorporated region between SB and Goleta.
We recognize that there is a current trend towards over-developing areas under the
guise that it will keep sprawl from happening.
We believe that people should have the strongest say in the future development
of their own neighborhoods. Therefore, we advocate for an updated Goleta Valley
Community Plan before any rezoning or new developments are approved for the
unincorporated region.
We expect our elected representatives to speak and take actions that reflect our
values and concerns.
