Public comment periods are an effective way to let your elected representatives know where you stand on an issue. Even if you choose not to speak during the comment period,
you can still attend and support others who share your point of view.
REGULAR COUNTY SUPERVISOR MEETINGS
The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors meets nearly every Tuesday
morning. Their job is to represent YOU in the decisions they make.
Unfortunately, special interest groups that are funded by pro-growth entities
invest time and energy into persuading the Supervisors to support their
interests above the average resident.
Law requires that the public is allowed to give comments at these public meetings.
We encourage you to exercise that right. Your input is necessary to keep community
values from being overshadowed by special interests.
